Black Tea
Jing Assam Breakfast - Comforting and full, with some rich malt-extract sweetness. Statuesque and broad, with plenty of grip and structure; pungent finishing flavours of malt, earth and bark.
Jing Darjeeling Second Flush Supreme - Sprightly, lively, sappy and refreshing, with an enticing combination of fresh grass, plant sap and woodland earth. Complex, broad finish with some grip.
Blue Sapphire Earl Grey - Subtle and light, brightened with citrus freshness. The calm grass and leaf of the Ceylon holds up well beneath the flamboyance of the bergamot. Refreshing and bright, with lifted citrus charm freshening the structured tenacity of the Ceylon leaf. A perfectly focussed classic.
Jing China Breakfast - Light, lively and clean, with classic Keemun refreshment lent length by finishing rooty depths.
Organic Bohea Lapsang - Calm, serene and reassuringly smoky: the smell of warm sauna pine. Subtle and haunting. Soft, gently smoky, warm yet refreshing, too, with a supple, creamy, liquorice-root finish.
Whole Rosebud China Black Tea - Soft and quenching, with light, graceful textures gently perfumed with rose-garden charm.
Vanilla Black Tea - Dark vanilla notes of roundness and charm, supported by a discreet, soft but full-textured black tea base.
The overall effect is creamy and sumptuous.
Yunnan Gold - Dark, rich, tangy and deep, with lots of tapered liquorice spice notes to lend the rich fruit gravity.
Some gentle tannic grip provides textural brightness and bite.
Russian Caravan - A blend of rich, malty Yunnan and clear and precise Keemun black tea, this blend has a toasty flavour and sweet finish.
