The strands of green leaf open like a sea anemone. A delicate arched garland of jasmine flowers lifts slowly from the crown of leaf strands to hang suspended in the water. A soft, supple, teasing, gently fresh jasmine.
FLOWERING RED AMARANTH
Two crowned tiers of green tea strands open in the water, one tauter and dark green, the other lighter and more curling. Within the circle of green, a fuchsia-coloured amaranth flower slowly rises, topped with a jasmine-pale crown. Earthy, subtle and focussed, though less intensely scented than the jasmine arch or osmanthus. A very delicate, sappy, cleansing liquor.
FLOWERING OSMANTHUS
An explosion of variegated green tea leaves out of the heart of which unfolds the flame-coloured petals of the osmanthus. Warm, green-tea sappiness lent complexity by some peachy toasty notes and a hint of umami.
